My name is Reyna Pergerson. I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Biology with a passion for teaching about how the body works. I have many years of tutoring and teaching experience, helping both high school and college students understand challenging concepts found in Biology. Last year I got the opportunity to spend a school year in Yap, teaching some of the same concepts I will teach in this class. Not only do I enjoy making Biology concepts understandable, but I also love making them fun to learn. I have noticed that this helps all learners with their ability to grasp the information and remember it for the long term. I also have a passion for art. I come from an artsy family and grew up painting and drawing whatever I could around the house. One of the more popular mediums I used to draw landscapes, abstracts and portraits were oil pastels. I greatly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have about art with others and helping them develop their personal style and interpretation of art. Moreover, I love helping them learn to use art as an expression of themselves.
