LIVE CLASS – Making Music (5 Lessons)

About This Class:

An amazing new world is opened to children when they begin to understand music.  Studies show that music education can strengthen creativity, relieve stress, and even improve test scores. In this class, we’ll explore one of God’s greatest gifts through fun, interactive activities. Students will not only learn basic music fundamentals, but will also create and express their own musical ideas.

Class Objectives:

From this class, students will be able to:

• Explore basic music concepts (e.g., melody, beat)
• Listen and analyze musical compositions
• Create and share their musical ideas
• Use musical expression as a means to glorify God.

Who this class is for

This class is for children who have an interest in, or a gift of music, and would like to further develop it.

Each class is a 60 minute session

Ages: 7-11

Class Size: 6-12 students
