About this Course
“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Psalm 139:14. Welcome to this beginners level Anatomy and Physiology course. Anatomy and Physiology may seem boring and stressful, but not in this class. This class is a stress-free class where we can learn for the love of learning. In addition we will learn how we can make what we’ve learned practical in order to better care for our bodies. This class will make an exciting and positive different in your learning experience with science, one that is fun, informational and enjoyable.
Course Description
While this course cannot provide all the details of each system, what will be covered will not only deepen students understanding of their body, but will give them an edge when the course is taken in school, or it can provide a solid remedial foundation for the important things a student may have missed when when they did take the class in school. In this class we will explore one of the following body systems:
- Integumentary
- Skeletal
- Muscular
- Nervous
- Digestive
- Urinary
- Circulatory
- Respiratory
Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify five easy to memorize facts about system
- Describe the main purpose of each system
- Discuss habits that help to maintain or damage the health of these systems
